    My research interests and activities include clinical research on the emotional and behavioral aspects of chronic medical conditions and patient engagement in disease self-management. Recent efforts also include improving the detection and treatment of depression in primary care settings and integrated behavioral health services design and delivery, especially in systems serving medically underserved populations.
