Dr. Ezequiel Andrade is a family medicine and geriatrics physician at DHS Martin Luther King Jr. Outpatient Center and an assistant faculty member with Charles R. Drew University’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, he is deeply committed to serving historically marginalized communities, with compassion, empathy, and collaboration at the core of his medical practice and teaching.
Dr. Andrade’s professional and personal interests intersect across medicine, public health, environmental justice, economic justice, and political discourse. He believes that building a more just society requires centering the needs of working-class people and addressing the structural inequalities that shape health and well-being. Dr. Andrade actively welcomes dialogue and collaboration across perspectives, encouraging colleagues, community members, and learners to share ideas, critically engage with diverse viewpoints, and work together toward collective solutions.
