    Shahrzad Bazargan-Hejazi, Ph.D. She is an Associate Professor of Medical Sociology in the Department of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU) in Los Angeles, California with a joint appointment as an Associate Adjunct Professor with the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Bazargan-Hejazi has over 60 publications in peer reviewed journals, and is an advisory board member for the International Journal of Student Research (IJSR), and a Board member presenting Asia in the International Society of Children and Adolescent Injury Prevention (ISCAIP). In addition she serves in the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Online Medical Conference; and is an Editorial member of International Journal of Collaborative Research on Internal Medicine & Public Health (IJCRIMPH).
