    My primary area of research has focused on cardio-metabolic diseases and cancer prevention for the underserved, minority communities. Since being appointed as a junior research faculty member at CDU, I have participated in several research studies, and authored/co-authored a number of research articles concerning the prevention and improvement of primary care services for under-privileged patients suffering from chronic diseases.
