My area of interest involves inflammation in macro and micro-vascular complications, like atherosclerosis and diabetic kidney disease. Minority populations are at higher risk of developing these chronic diseases. Our goal is to strengthen our understanding in the area, which will further be helpful to design novel therapeutic approaches for inflammatory process of atherosclerosis and diabetic kidney disease.
